Designing Timeless Experiences Above the Clouds
For more than three decades, I have had the privilege of working with an exceptional clientele. My projects are not numerous, but they are highly personal, bespoke, and built on long-term relationships. Some clients have returned for a third, fourth, or even fifth collaboration over the years. Their trust remains the most meaningful reward of my career.
My journey in aviation interiors began alongside the late Alberto Pinto, where I founded and led the private aircraft interiors department within his internationally renowned studio. Following his passing, I continued along the same path, developing a design approach that combines craftsmanship, innovation, and timeless elegance.
Born in Monaco to German parents who had settled in Paris, I grew up in a family deeply connected to the arts. As I often say, “Art was not a choice; it was a destiny.” After graduating from the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’Art in Paris, I began my career in Italy, where I developed a lasting appreciation for proportion, detail, and atmosphere.
Today, my portfolio includes luxury residences, yachts, and more than thirty-five completed aircraft interiors. I have always considered myself as much a craftsman as a designer. “My work resembles that of a Neapolitan tailor whose small workshop attracts clients from all over the world.”
For me, an aircraft cabin is more than a functional space. It is an experience shaped by light, movement, comfort, and emotion. While I embrace innovation and emerging technologies, I remain a passionate advocate for craftsmanship. The finest interiors are created through the balance of both.
“Technology inspires,
but craftsmanship endures.”
